    1. Thanks, Liz! So good to hear from you. I hope to get more posts out and appreciate that you enjoy them!

  1. Nice post! My husband and I just got back from India recently so I can relate to the photo taking (lol!), monkeys, cows etc. It’s a wild and amazing place!

    1. Thanks, Jen. I tried and tried to distill a single narrative from the trip and realized it was as hopeless as trying to distill a “typical” American… is a rural person from Alabama the same as someone from the Bronx or Kenilworth, IL?? I can see where there are even profound differences from where I live to a person two miles south of me in Chicago. You are right it is a wild and amazing place!

  2. Yet another wonderful post, Marge! Thank you so much. And I must have been Hindu in another life, too. 😉

  3. Hola Marge! Thank you for taking this trip to India for me…it’s a place I’ve always wanted to go and now I don’t have the sitzfleish to sit on a plane that long. I still remember the wonderful day we had going to Pozos and Dolores Hidalgo. You were a delightful traveling companion. Maybe when the world reclaims it’self you will come back with your partner! Until then stay well and safe. Besos!
